Visualize the rhythm
/ Large LED screens
Each of our 6′ tall LED screens is hand crafted from individual LED light strips, wired together and operated via a custom-built WLED rig. The Digital Music Playland operates the screens with custom-programmed visualizations and play-along imagery. These large displays, low resolution for style, can be seen clearly from a distance.
Our LED screens can be used to enhance the experience in various ways, including with a familiar rhythm-game format. Other modes include visual details for experienced musicians to play along on their own instruments, providing chord progression (including piano and/or guitar chords), guitar tabs, rhythm and other information in real-time. This makes it easy and fun for experienced musicians to play along in an Open Jam style!
/ Rhythm Game Mode
In Rhythm Game mode, a popular favorite, colored blocks representing a part of the underlying rhythm fall from the top of the screen. Pressing any button on any controller at the right time will interact with the blocks and increase the score shown on the scoreboard. Kids love to work together to get a high score!
/ Piano Melody Mode
In Piano Melody Mode, individual notes stretch from the top of the screen to a piano display, where notes are highlighted as they play! In this mode. A scoreboard tracks how well players match the melody on any of the available devices.
/ Open Jam Mode
Open Jam mode is designed for experienced musicians to play along on their own instruments. This combines the rhythm blocks from Rhythm Game Mode (sans scoreboard) with chord progression information, including images of piano and/or guitar chords for hints during live play.
/ Guitarist Mode
Guitarist mode is designed to display guitar tablature for guitarists to read and play along in real-time. Color-coded fret numbers fall from the top of the screen to land on a large fretboard display.
